Violent mental illness is never a good look. It looks off to you because it is, fundamentally, off in a real way. You can tell by the way this guy talks that he's absolutely full of himself, maybe even belligerent in person, full of negative energy with zero acceptance of any sort of critique or conflicting ideas. He will probably never get the help he needs in art or otherwise because of this attitude which he desperately tries to frame under a positive guise as a way to cope.

If there's a museum in your city you should hang out there. You could make friends and maybe find clients.

If you could get other homeless people into art, maybe you could even start a movement. I can totally imagine chic galleries investing in homeless art to highlight wealth inequality in the country or something like that.
