either way, way more comfortable than my intuos which happened to break and it was barely more expensive. and its far better than my ipad.

I only have 3 issues with it.
>screen isn't as nice as my primary screen (1980x1020 and saturation/contrast is kinda meh)
>wires (display port + power cable + usb) makes it a harder to move around my desk and its much bulkier. I can fit it under my monitor but there's not that much room to spare and it took over my drink area
>no hot-keys
which is why i hate my ipad. i can sorta angle my keyboard to still use them though but there's no express keys on the tablet by default. the more expensive models have them but not the cheap 16. so i have to fuck around with my keyboard to get everything set up just right. not a big deal just slightly inconvenient.

mullins and jia are like the bouguereau/sargent/leyendecker (in terms of notoriety) of digital art, so yeah, id be a little surprised if any digital artist that have ever been interested in concept art or illustration wasnt familiar with either of those artists. it would kind of be like a fine artist not knowing who bouguereau or sargent or leyendecker are. its possible that a top tier traditional painter could have gone their whole career not knowing or hearing about any of them, but it would be surprising. i suppose if youre actually a beginner or are only interested in animu or furry art or something than i guess it would be more understandable

Yep. You can feel digicuck rage whenever their art is not recognized as real art. Whereas actual (in the sense of existing) art is generally called real art without question unless they do weird modernist art or manchild art like anime (which is most of ic, so even if the digicucks worked with real materials, they still are not real artists).
No one ever thought an artist would be better or more impressive if they did digital.

Also you ask a digital artist how to buy their art and they’re like “give me $10 a month” or “buy this poster or tote bag” whereas you can just fucking buy someone’s painting, and have it.
