A mischief demon curses you. You are unable to start anything new until you finish everything you've started. How fucked are you? Mercifully the demon only makes you finish projects you had a plan for or put a lot of effort into.

Personally I would be major league fucked. I am constantly planning huge animation projects. I get distracted then forget then start something else. Over and over. This is a WIP of a little animation that I wanted to make a little smoother and perhaps color.

What reasons do you guys have for abandoning your work?

Nah, I think remaking from scratch is better. The idea is not that bad but the composition and execution leave a lot to be desire. I was trying to emulate the feel of illustration from this guy I saw on pixiv and doesn't come even close.

I dropped this one because I couldn't render anything but skin at the time, but I've learned so much in all the other fundamentals that if I were to finish it I'd have to start from scratch. (i was a lot more coomer back then...)
