I've also been struggling with metal lately but I found that metal tends to have very bright highlights on the parts directly facing the light source and around some edges. The shadows can also get very colorful if it's near another object.
Just another beginner so take this as a grain of salt and try to look at some references I guess.

No problem, also chrome tends to have very clear reflections even from a distance and gets way more colorful, almost like a warped painting inside a painting.
Steel doesn't really reflect stuff clearly unless it's right next to the object and even then it's usually just a color blob.

the biggest issues

1. Jaw. You need to learn how to properly draw jaws. It is nearly vertical by the time it is at the ear. Your jaw is angled until it reach the jaw. Do a slight bump for the chin, 75% of the jaw at 30%~ or whatever angle, then a slight turn upwards
2. The rib cage is the most important part of the body visually. Properly drawing your rib cage makes life way easier.
3. Remember to draw the obliques above the top of the pelvis

idk man, i only draw for fun but - in my opinion, at this stage it doesn't have to be perfect or exact. i have always sucked at construction shit, i tend to just draw ahead, especially with imagination shit like the indian guy in webm related i just did. ( i censored one of the angles i suck at drawing, i need to practice it way more lmao)

in my opinion, for now just use construction to kind of hold it all together, and to give you a sense of 3D curvature and shit. it doesn't have to look exactly like the example images right now. it also can be single shitty lines for now.
just keep drawing and some of the ideas expressed in some books start to make sense slowly but surely. just honestly have fun, dont fall for draw a box/proko scams, and it all works out sooner or later. hampton figure drawing book is cool too and works best with fun with a pencil together, it's easier too. just have fun and check the board sticky once in a while b urself

Making the lineart took a long time, the drawing took about 3 days in total.
I guess the mistake was doing autistically consistent lines when i should do them more loosely in high resolution.

I would revisit basic construction.The way you constructed the upper torso looks good but the proportions are off. Looks like she has no mid section and her pelvis is too short in comparison.
I think you would benefit from learning to construct hands with basic shapes too, her left wrist looks ok in general but by the time you get to the top of the hand her hand, her knuckles are out of place and it throws the whole hand off
