I draw for the attention and dopamine hits I get from family and friends complimenting my art. I used be passionate about making characters and shit but im pretty much just doing it on autopilot. Less about wanting to do it and more feeling an obligation to do it.

I know it's hard to like your drawings sometimes, or even anytime at all, but it's worth to atleast like some part of it. If you can't love the whole piece, find something to love about it. If you can't do that, take a break, make another drawing. Find some inspiration, study, and so on.

Damn, I tend to be proud of my work, despite knowing that I need to improve. That is until I share it, then I realize it's not as good as I thought. Then I despair because I don't know what exactly I need to do to make my art more appealing to other people
