The problem here is that you guys treat art like it's a hard science with a one-dimensional scale of quality, but most consumers don't care about observing the products of your dick measuring contests. Most consumers value art because it has aesthetic or emotional value to them, not because it's impressive. Art fundamentals weren't put together because they're a bunch of rules you have to follow to make good art, but because they're a list of traits commonly found appealing in art, and most art institutions train artists to make art like it's a commodity meant for mass appeal.
