When will this ugly and bland faux-anime art style die out in the west so we can go back to interesting styles and animation methods again? I swear it's plaguing non-comedy adult western animation like a disease.

While I do agree on your sentiment, I still wish for more semi realistic artstyles, with realistic body proportions in western animation, and faux-anime is unfortunately the closets thing we have at the moment in mainstream.

Have you considered that such a thing never existed outside of your head? Outside of capeshit and the more modern netflix shows I can't think of western cartoons that use more humanoid proportions with "anime" camera angles and it's all being animated in Asia anyway.

There are literal fucking thousands of animations out there, each one with their own style and at least 3 or 4 being launched every 3 months or so, you found 5 or 6, maybe not even that, that are trying to have a more adult graphical novel look and you complete lose your shit about it like the biggest nigger I've seen, are you really trying to eclipse the sun, is that your plan because is what you are leading to.
