personally agree, i prefer the art nouvaeu stuff but apparently he wanted to be remembered for these

i like a few, but its all got good muralistic color choices and i think its interesting to see what a guy who made it commercially also dabbled in

His art nouveau stuff is already tacky and outdated. They are the kind of shit women copy to test out art materials on youtube.
These slav epics are examples of his mastery of draftsmanship, painting and have actual meaning to them. They are timeless.
