How the fuck do those people still get to make appealing art while my art Is still shit despite me and the artist in OP's Pic being around the same skill level? Not being as good as other people Is already a big paranoia but even seeing people on my level or worse having more appealing art than me just makes me want to stop entirely. Should I instead start with a very basic anime art style instead of trying more complex stuff?

You have no understanding of anatomy, proportions, perspective, or gesture.
