I honestly did not care in the slightest about art untill seeing picrel just now. Im pretty sure its the same guy who did some of the art for cvs and i didnt care for his work before but this image just oozes soul. Even the fucking peanut butter jelly time guy looks so fucking soulful in this peice. I would honestly die happy if i could make something half as good as this in my life time. What do i do? What books and artist (other than who made picrel) do i study? Help me out lads, i have a fucking passion now and i dont want it to die out before i at least try.

Its not, its really, honest to god passion. The only other times i felt like this was when i got into martial arts, skating and fightan. I can handle the grind, even if it uses a different part of my brain than punching shit or doing sol dustloops.

Start with Successful Drawing by Andrew Loomis and knuckle down the importance of perspective. Do no skip a single page, read through everything and buy the tools the book tells you to use. If it is too much information, look for Fun with a Pencil by Loomis and introduce yourself to the basic forms and his blooks. Do not skip a single blook or you are the big gay and a faggot. I'll keep this thread alive for you so we can point and laugh at you in the end.
