I know it's necessary and force myself to do it because the gains are tangible after each session but it's always such a bore to meticulously pick apart what goes into someone else's work, even if it's an artist you love

I've stopped studying from other artists for the time being and have started grinding irl anatomy and other things.
I don't care how ugly or soulless my work is for the this year as long as its structurally sound.
Style and appeal can come later.
