Sometimes he goes months without drawing, there are several year gaps between certain issues of Sonichu. On top of that he never steps out of his comfort zone, always choosing to draw the same garbage over and over.

Yes, look at the strings of muscles in a hand and how it connects to the wrist. Basically anything that involves more than a few light contractions is excessive.

OHG involves only simple contractions from the thumb and middle finger, light push on the forefinger. Chris's grip involves lengthy contractions that extend all the way down individual fingers, contorted around the pencil like he's trying to make a Naruto hand sign.

Well for starters he has the mental age of a 10-year-old, which means he's resistant to all critique from others and is too stupid to self-critique. There was also a coordinated effort online to assassinate any passion he has for his art meaning that he has several month-long gaps without drawing, and when he does it's because it's demanded of him rather than any want to draw. The biggest reason though is that at a certain point it takes serious effort to improve at art. Effort being something Chris doesn't take very well to, and I imagine he finds it much more enjoyable to do things that take no effort like playing with legos or playing video games.

He has done nothing but copy the same shitty mistakes for decades. He calls objectively superior fanart of his characters inferior to his own art. He confuses technical skill with style. Being bad is not a style. Style is something that comes from drawing things right and then deviating from that course.
What chris and people like chris have are roadblocks. They can only improve when the mental barrier is removed and they start to study from reality.
Also, he didn't draw regularly after a while. It was pretty much whenever he wasnt gaming or making videos.
He draws even less nowadays.
My art noticeably improves when Im using irl reference and I plan to start my "draw this 100 times" practice after breakfast.
