>what kind of coomments do you leave on on your favorite artists drawings/posts

You are very polite and supporting, right?

>> No.5167920

Why lmao, following and liking is enough. Why do i have to burden them by trivial comments, if they dont reply they come off heartless, if they do reply they have to think of something to say, its bothersome. Go back to dad you fag. They love comments there because they are lonely and /beg/.

bold of you to assume yourself in his position anon

I only leave comments if I love the character or if the artist is questioning something they’re doing.

They love English comments. Just as we like Japanese people noticing us. It’s a badge of honor to them and they engage with your post going out of the way to translate it. I’ve seen it happen many times including on streams.

Personally I find it cute, since the people who leave these kind of comments tends to be very young, so it's endearing, but for the love of God cut that shit out if your over 20, you have no excuse anymore and even if it's done ironic it's cringe, just full on stop.

I don't leave comments on Japanese artists posts because they rarely respond or even like it, unless you post some serious error. Then they might RT it with a "very sorrey" self-deprecating response
I check to see if the artist even reads their comments and responds, then I might say "Nice work! -Insert specific detail I like-" and it's nice when they reply back and we can talk a little
I recently saw some 20k nsfw artist complain about critical comments about how he drew a pussy and he got really upset and said something like "Maybe YOU don't know how it works" which was entertaining

Japs see either politely ignore criticism or take it like cucks even when they shouldn't
Western artists, specially nsfw western artists, will throw shitfits at any perceived slight because an attack on their art obviously means you think they're brain dead retarded and their mother is a whore.

I never comment or support in any way beyond subbing and I only do that because it's more convenient for me.
