Whats your blog?
One of the biggest thing i see with some artist on twitter is their media tab. If your media tabb is full of reactions and memes or just stuff that isn't art most people would just ignore your work. also try to find a community you would enjoy to draw for. 80% Fanart and 20% OC art

Other than that, its mostly being lucky and patient. Art is mostly a mental game, if you sad that your not where you are just keep working!

If you move and work with a bad attitude and mentality it'll show in your work!
Thats why alot of artist quit! They don't take care of their mental!

I drew NuclearWasabi's OC and got hundreds of likes and almost as many retweets for it
Ended up focusing on my SFW account afterwards and drew practically nothing for my NSFW account
Went from 0 followers to 20 over the course of a month despite not drawing anything
Uploaded every single day for two weeks straight on the SFW account and got 3 new followers(two were follow for follow bullshit)
I could've probably gotten up to 100 followers if I had some other art to show because I made the NSFW account on Christmas
The art you have ready to show when people show up is like a first impression
If they see potential, they're more likely to stay
If they see you post once every couple weeks or the majority of your work is ass, they'll leave
