His is venting, but considering he gets approached by people as a teacher with the same mindset & the homogeneity of many web gen I don't blame him for being angry.
Some pointers from what he is trying to say:
>Always try to learn and grow (Buddha shares this sentiment)
>Learn from everything you can learn from, and diversify what you learn from ( Shared by Watanabe, Imaishi, and Miyazaki)
>Trying to copy a narrow field to be popular is a fool's way ("Don't be a second rate frazetta, be a first rate you" - Frank Frazetta)
>You need foundations to grow (Sentiment shared by Renascence artists, Loomis, and every teacher that is worth their money)
Third tweet is venting about people being immature, this is just his frustration. There are people who's who career is trying to find out potential that take years to strike gold, potential is not as easy to predict by saying "if you are like this you will not be a good learner"

This guy is industry though, and a teacher. This is not a good look. It happens to the best of them, it happened to notch and to Stefán Karl Stefánsson. It is okay to get angry, and it is okay to vent if it is directly against what has been said to cause it. But when you tweet something like this without thought you put out a not well thought response without the context which is lose lose for everyone.
He should have taken a breather, thought how he can turn all that into something that may help the people who follow his work that may have this mindset.

Don't listen to him. That Yen guy thinks he knows it all and acts "redpilled" about the "industry" when in reality he has never stepped outside of his room and experienced what real work is in his beloved japanese sweatshops. He's only parotting experiences from the "friends" he interacts on twitter. Absolute clown, that guy.

Well put, I really don't understand why accomplished artist man would shit on anonymous random begs. Guess that goes to show a mirror of himself in his own words.

>I really don't understand why
Most people are not ready to face the full frontal force of the internet. If you are lucky, you will make those mistakes before you blow up or anonymously to be wiser and avoid them later on.
I don't think the guy harbors hate towards the people he spends so much time helping, I think he acted on on frustration is all.
