I think it’s actually over for procreate brush sharing. There just so many already that people can easily tweak whatever they want now with a wide range of paper textures etc. The occasional novelty pack will pop up still, there’s some stuff I’m watching for

it’s more that there’s no flavour of the week theme to make a set around anymore
you can only make so many “gouache”, “marker”, “oil” etc packs that work nothing like those mediums before people stop biting
that, and the last yearly update did nothing for the engine and didn’t introduce anything to latch on to
I was kind of expecting a flood of meme swatch palettes and gradient maps, but I guess the procreate gold rush is over

Yup. After every major update that I can clearly recall, there was a flood of new brush packs taking advantage of new features added to the brush engine. This year's update didn't add nor fix anything.

Makes me curious where the app goes from here. They clearly don't intend to do anything more with the animation feature, which makes me wonder why they added it in the first place. They're constantly having to tell people no animation updates are planned. They get asked about it regularly.

hard round brush settings in procreate? Like what's the optimal setup for it. I see the photoshop users using it having more of a V shape near the end, whilst mine is just round. Oh and also , is it supposed to bleed in? How do I make it uniform . Sorry for so many questions, but I;m truly lost

What am I missing out on if I buy an iPad 8 and first gen pencil instead of an Air 4 with gen 2 pencil?

Better hardware specs, a better display and wireless charging. If you can afford it, the Air and gen 2 Pencil are definitely worth it, particularly as a future-proofing measure.

I just uploaded all the Nikolai Lockertsen brushes I have to the Mega. The Bleed, Eggs and Greens brushsets are in there.

There are some duplicates of some of his older brushes, which I think are a result of him either making some alterations or maybe re-saving them in different versions of Procreate. I haven't had a chance to examine them all to see what differences there are, if any.
