you're not supposed to ace them your first try, did you even read the description and lesson 0?
it's like complaining you'll never be an electronics engineer because you don't understand an amplifier circuit despite never having seen a resistor before.

He says not to grind but then what is the point of me shitting out worst lines possible and then moving on to the next exercise?
Isn't repetition the point of exercise?

Do it until you can.
This isn't a one evening assignment.

Nest practice would be to do it for 5-10 minutes every day before you start drawing.

Sometimes I scribble all over old paperwork like a child does to their homework. I think it adds up to 15 or so minutes a month

so you didnt read lesson 0
https://drawabox.com/lesson/0/4/grinding

>Now, this does not mean that we complete the assigned pages for an exercise and then forget about it entirely.
>Instead, we take all of the exercises we've learned thus far and incorporate them into a pool, from which we draw two or three exercises at the beginning of each session to do for 10-15 minutes.
>This does not mean doing them to completion, or to any particular page count - just to work on them for a set period of time before moving onto the main focus of that session.
