Start with loose sketches, few curvilinear lines and get familiar with perspective, you don't need to be perfect about it, after you get the main objects in place, use their own lines as guiding for everything else

It was done free hand. First add the figure, draw the toilet at correct angle (notice that it's curved slightly) to figure and eyeball all other objects and surrounding. This artist knows enough perspective to be able to stylize it, same as artists who stylize their anatomy once they're confident in their skill level.

what do you call this

>> No.5067319

>>5067039
Thats wrong. Look at the bottom of the middle top left box.
Also most artists who draw in fisheye perspective done use complicated guidelines with vanishing points. They way to do it is draw one thing in that perspective then draw the rest of the scene using the first thing as a point of reference. Its how kim jung gi describes how he does it. Something i personally find helps is if you draw a light circle or round out the corners of the page as a guideline

>> No.5069945

i think most people who are good at extreme perspectives freehand are just eyeballing everything. you essentially just make up some rules (every parallel line in this direction should converge at so-and-so points) and just follow them the best you can. The result is so abstract that it's impossible to tell if there's any big mistakes.

Youre thinking too hard about perspective. Do some loose sketches without worrying about making perspective points and just think of your image as a sphere/mirror ball and see where that gets you.

vanishing points have to do with parallel lines. if they aren't parallel they have their own sets of vanishing points. i saw this on this board not too long ago and its a fun example. the stairs all share the same horizon line but none of them line up to the same vanishing point

I'm not the person who posted that image. But any plane shares the same horizon line with any other plane at the same angle. Barring the imperfections of the construction, the steps of a spiral staircase would share the same horizon line as the ground.
I'm just pointing out how ridiculous it is that you seem to think those steps are rectangles. Basic logic dictates they are not.
