I think you need to push your values more and as for your figures, they're looking kinda stiff. Doing gesture practice might help you.

It kinda hurt reading through the avpd comments in the last thread, I related to them a little too.much and I'm concerned this is my life forever, I hope you fellow fucked up schizoids get some therapy and work things out, i hate being like this and being powerless over it. You're not alone, and you have options to heal yourself. This is from my experience; therapy can help but only so much, it helps in recognising the patterns and understanding yourself a little better. The healing didn't happen for me until I tripped with psilocybin in amsterdam with a guide. I was trapped in that personality, the behaviour patterns for years. All old connections calcified over my life. The trip opened all that up and even showed me the roots; conflict in my childhood, stress caused by an alcoholic father, neglect, seeing my mother distraught and close to taking her own life, being ridiculed at school for being too quiet, trying to make up for it by faking confidence later in life, a lot of repression of things left unsaid and undone. That trip was two years ago and to this day it was the most important, life-changing thing to happen to me. I know rebirth sounds cliche but that's exactly what I was blessed with in that room
I'm just an anon on 4chan so do your own research on psilocybin (and lsd, mdma too) on helping depression, ptsd, addictions, all manner of internalised, pathological patterns of thinking, and it should guide you in what you want to do to help yourself. Thank you, whilst I don't see my improvement right now but I think I will in a few months time when I look back at the work I did. I think the only thing that keeps my ego strong is the fact I only started to really do "painting" was October 29th. I never really put much work into painting other than doing greyscales on and off without much purpose. You have to be ON TOP of things you don't understand from the BEGINNING. This isn't high school were the teacher will recognize you are falling behind and stop to help you. You are your own advocate and agent now. In college things move quickly, things snowball very quickly if you don't have the wherewithal to stay on top of things it gets out of control fast and you will feel hopeless. It's completely preventable if you take it upon yourself to STAY ON TOP of the material being shown to you from the beginning.

If you have a bad day in class and feel like you didn't understand what was being lectured on, yes you can try to speak to the professor, but you should be going home and studying the material AGAIN THAT DAY/NIGHT until you feel like you have a grasp of it.
If you go home, take the L and think "I didn't know the fuck was going on today." Guess what, the next day you're going to not know the fuck's going on the next day and the day after.

If you feel like you simply do not have the time to study everything being asked of you, really ask yourself if that's the case or you can try taking less classes.

I'm an incredibly observant person as I check these threads on a daily basis for years and this is 100% true. Without giving names, it has been the same people who were the first people to post in the forums at launch.
