There's no sense holding yourself to standard of where you want to be from where you are now. It's more important to look back on your previous works and make sure you're improving. As long as you keep learning you'll attain your desired result, you don't get there by just wanting.

If you're not improving you need to determine why, and if you are improving you need to cut yourself some slack. You've got a decade more practice to get good, and if you beat yourself up now you're going to get burned out before you make it.
