While i do want to be able to draw dresses and loose clothing in the future with crazy poses, do my fundamentals needs to be at utmost peak to be able to draw JK Pleated skirts or OL pencil skirt?
I feel like I would eventually be able to draw them well just from studying from pictures alone. I tried drawing them with basic poses and i felt like it came out well. I havent yet tried poses that would need diaper folds like pic related or any kind of action poses.

Fundies aren't some kind of hurdle you need to clear before you get to draw anything fun or anything like that. They're literally just the fucking fundamentals of drawing, period. They don't exist to be at their "peak" and they never will be.
