Is it just me or, does majority of coomer artist on patreon kinda amateurish? I considered throwing a few artist there some money, and i left feeling bewildered by the stuff i saw. It's either the semi realistic anime artstyle, or the type of anime art you see off deviantart. And they both make lots of money for some reason. Meanwhile, nips on fanbox don't make anywhere close.
In the end, i end up commisioning some nip animator a symphogear porn off skeb.

There are people with terrible anatomy knowledge, no ability to draw backgrounds outside of one point perspective and shit rendering ability and get over minimum wage through patreon+commissions. Case in point artist of OP, afrobull, he has okay anatomy but this really terrible three tone rendering that he puts on all his pieces.

commissioned art is mostly uninspired stuff made for cash. that is not true of amusing, thought provoking artwork like this picture of a cue anime girl with a realistic nose was made strictly for fun at the spur of the moment, pure inspiration.
