I can't do it anymore.
I can't stop comparing myself to people here and feeling like shit.
I can't stop second guessing my self.
I finished two drawings for the first time in over a year and already hate them and myself.
I'm going to leave this board and hope that it gets better and I like my art again back before I found this place.

Love what you do and appreciate your art even if it's look like shit and always think that you can do better by just doing the right practice (aim for a goal every time like saying this month I will learn anatomy as much as I can)

Truth. The only people who need to compare themselves to others are the ones who value themselves by their work. (Which is subtly but vastly different to simply valuing hard work).
It's understandable to use it as a crutch, but it's much weaker than just accepting and appreciating the fruits of your honest efforts. Which is worth it in every way to practice doing.

I ocasionally come to this board to ask some questions or for resources, please don´t give up, I understand you, I feel the same, but if I stop trying I for sure never gonna make it, so just keep trying, harder. Try to draw at least 3 hours per day and put youself a small goal, this worked for me maybe it does help you

Being bad at something is the first step towards being really good at something.

People who are good artists draw or paint all the time and they’ve been doing that for years.

So, if you want to be good at art, you have to draw or paint or whatever all the time, and for years and years.

Even if you are incredibly untalented, which I doubt, you will eventually get better if you do it consistently and intelligently.
