They all make kid stuff though. Some of them are good at drawing but the stories and plots are basically on par with capeshit. Artwise I prefer manga to capeshit, I’ll read some manga every now and then but I never touch capeshit but even so, they unfortunately have a lot in common. At least the American Underground comics dealt with mature adult themes in a creative way. Also Robert Crumb shits on most of these guys desu.

Not really, homosexual representation in manga has been present in Japan long before the idea of sjw really even existed in the west, it's just that Japs have different views of homosexual stuff anyways. I believe they few others it as more of a phase and a fetish, rather than a sexuality. Their "woke" stuff really isn't as heavily publicized as it usually exist as more of a subtext in the medium. There's been a few blatantly homosexual manga that actually focus on the sexuality, but for the most part its just exist in the background, ie bishonen. In the west, existing franchises are usually changed to fit today's current narrative, while in Japan whole franchises are used to tell them.
