Does anyone else get angry when they see these monster designs? They're autistic. I couldnt watch the show for more than 5 episodes or so because of it. i just got annoyed watching it. What was the reason for this? I understand they wanted the monsters to be gross, but why autistic?

Titans were inspired by extremely drunk internet café visitors, where the author was working prior to becoming a mangaka. Nobody from the public wanted to see giant deformed naked people as main antagonist before the series came out, and it's not even the point of the story. AoT revolves around the theme of dehumanising your enemies to the point of everybody on your side of "humanity" wanting them gone from this world. It makes sense why they're portrayed that way.

Many SH or RE creatures are scary or freaky looking, or mysterious, or disturbing, but they still dont cause annoyance when you look at them. The AOT stuff is full autism schizoid.
