I was just talking to a girl I knew from high school and she wanted to buy one of my paintings and pick my brain about art, and she was shellshocked by how 100% "business" I am about making money.

There's art in picking what images to create but it's a LOT of business... idk. I'm not in the mindset to be anything but frank with people about the realities of becoming an artist. I'll let other people be the "real artists", if people want advice from me on art I just give them business advice at this point because that's the stuff they're not going to get from other people.

I hope people find it at least a little refreshing that I'm more concerned with people getting theirs and being successful than being "le artiste"
