If theyre not paying money for it, you have no obligation to continue it. Be upfront and say you lost interest. Unless you have some devoted fanatics in your following, everyone will understand.
Unless you have an ending prepared youd disapoint them anyway, since the quality would degrade because of your lack of interest.

understand youre already disappointing readers by not following your enthusiasm through from start to end.
and readers will start to see you as someone who will not finish their stories, and anything new from you is not worth investing their time in.
best scenario, pay someone to finish the comic for you.
usual scenario, move on, lose readers, lose fans.
alternate scenario, ghost and start a new online identity for your new story.

Art could need some work but it's very soulful and pleasant to look at so that's not that much of an issue. You also seem to have some good output so that'll lead to some pretty strong gains too.
I honestly don't have much experience with webtoons so I can't say for sure, but I would expect this to easily get a following if you got it out there.

Read a bit more and the quality varies a lot imo. The short ones especially seem more like you weren't that inspired rather than that you had a joke in mind that works really well in a few panels. Well either that or you struggle to have the punchline really uh punch(for example in "swimming" and even moreso "pants master" the last panel is weak). I liked the ones you did in september.

there are several huge sol 0 story only comedy etc comics in the popular section. Your artskills are most certainly not the problem my friend, you can btfo many of the big dogs in that department. But now you'll need some sort of appealing story or such.
Honestly it's just not very funny and your drawings are too "empty" and not "information dense" enough, I have to scroll a few seconds to get past even a single half drawn bust of a character without background and such, and there's 4 of these just to tell a mediocre joke.
Your friend does way better with how he adapted his panels into the vertically scrolling webcomic format, which I understand is made to be palatable to phone users. Note how despite being worse than you in skill level presumably, he alternates shots and angles aswell as shows scenery and thinks about the way an user scrolls and places bigs negative spaces to make reading easier.

>> No.4887066

>>4887059
yeah i make them too short

You're right on the paneling,

In my opinion you should continue but with less releases at least 1 update per month, and the rest of the time you work on something else.

I was like you but I continued anyway with 1 update per month in the end I reached enough following to activate the ads / rewards and get paid by webtoon and with that I was more motivated by the money and I started with more updates per month.

give it a proper ending.
-readers will be disappointed, but not as spiteful as if you just stop out of nowhere
-you won't feel compelled to go back to it if it's ended, but you can have regrets leaving it unfinished. If you want to pick it again, you'll need to make a proper sequel, which is still possible but requires more motivation so you won't do it on a whim
-you can say it's a completed project. People like completed projects. You can brag about it more than "this project I gave up on midway through"
