There are two types of artist.

One studies and learns. He works hard and perfects his craft. He produces anatomically correct characters in realistic perspective. All his works lack soul.

The other just draws without any care in the world. He just instinctively knows what looks good and throws it onto the canvas. Everything he produces has soul.

Which type of artist do you aspire to be?

There are two types of artist. The first ALWAYS draws people. The second type NEVER draws people.

The first type sits straight in a chair and keeps their workspace in perfect order. The second type slouches completely horizontally with no posture while they work, and their home is filled to the ceiling with unnecessary things.

The first type draws very precise, calculated lines. The second type holds the pen in a fist and ALWAYS drags it with full force so that the paper is ripped.

The first one breathes in and out in a 1:5 ratio. if the inbreath is three seconds, the outbreath is fifteen seconds. The second type of artist is the opposite! If the outbreath is 3 seconds, the inbreath is 15 seconds.

There are two types of artist, one is 5”11 with size 9 feet and slightly crooked teeth. He has a dog called Oliver and his mom is a Sagittarius. The other type is a 6”0 bipolar man from Russia. why is it that most of the great artists do not come from higher class/wealthy families? Upper class sure, but not the super rich. Why are there no millionaires who became iconic in the art world? They have enough money to be able to have the finest tools, the leisure time to learn and practice, and afford the best education. Yet, it remains to be seen.
