I have a hard time not getting weirded out by evangelion hentai because the uniforms they use in the anime are almost identical to the uniforms used by the school girls I grew up with. I don't think there's a single asian public school that doesn't require uniforms. and if they don't it's probably because there's a lot of foreigners or it has some kind colonial history or a link with another western institution.
