I love it, keep it up. Only thing I care to note is that you should think about color relationships more. The guy looks good but the lion could use some rearranging here and there. That being said, I like your willingness to just try shit out. Keep going!

Extremely based style, keep going.
That being said, you should know the rules before you break them. The guys arms and hands could use some work. Learn the major bones and muscle groups and maybe get some references for lions or whatever.
Also don't listen to the color guy. The bold color combinations suit your style.
