since u draw digitally, u can look for a stabilisation option in ur drawing program so slower lines can appear smoother the higher u set it. but in general its also a lot of getting used to controlling slower movements, it takes some time, theres no hack for it

to add onto this, you can try accepting the more wobbly/wavy lines as practice and just move onto the next line, even if that one ends up wobbly too.
it takes a lot of drawing wobbly lines to get to the part where you dont care anymore and just move on to finish your drawing.
the more controlled smooth lines will come on its own because you will start to feel more comfortable drawing slowly

Depends on the idea surrounding it. If it's a simple idea, it could only have maybe 10-15 panels ready. Just gotta learn how to make the art flow well with the next panel, and to change the layout of the comic every once in a while so it doesn't get boring. Check out McCloud's book for how to do that kind of stuff, he's a beast.

also if you're using csp post correction/stabilizer can be used to make a slow, wavy line straight, but it's best to just sketch quickly and learn line control

OP, I think you would be really interested in incorporating artbreeder (art generating ai website) into your workflow. at the very least you should check it out. I like to generate rough concepts on there and then paint on top of them and flesh them out.

Its not the same as getting a computer to generate concepts for you, but I like to browse twitter/insta for amateur art and paint on top of it. I of course don't post it anywhere but its a similar workflow to using art breeder. anyways glad you liked the website :)

I don't know if there are any tricks (smoking weed helps me with this personally but it depends on the person, I've got friends that smoke up and just cannot resist the urge to goof off and play games) I think the best piece of advice I can provide is that patience is a skill. the more you get used to spending lots of time with your pieces the easier it will become to resist abandoning them :)

I struggle with feeling like I’m cheating myself when referencing and this site helps a lot with that, every concept is original and you can just take what you want from it. I like that they look super rad on the thumbnail but when you blow them up they’re actually pretty blobby and vague meaning you have to fill in the gaps and fix things yourself. It’s like Rorschach referencing. Even a few uses has given me some deep inspiration for character design. click pic related for what I mean with thumbnail vs high res
