Eurasian harvest mice are surprisingly good at drawing, better than the common house mice and deer mouse I tried. They can be a little hard to find in the America's but I assure you, it's well worth the investment.

Sometimes I enjoy using a mouse as well, but it's pretty slow even once you get good at it.
If you are 100% insistant on using only a mouse I'd reccomend either using vectors, which allow confortable post editing or pixel art.
This is pretty nice, keep at it!
I don't know about brands. It will have to be wired, wireless has a lag

Thank you, anon. I was split between Eurasian harvest mice and Asian tree ones, considering the comparative advantage of Asian tree mice's easier procurement. But I think I'll go with your recommendation!

set it to the lowest dpi you can (i use 400 6/11)
in my experience laser mice are just piss to use to draw with
