If you want to make comics, focus on drawing pages. I've seen your Hellboy fan-art, and while you nailed the Mignola style, even in the storytelling, it's clear that you find some shots harder than others. You draw 90% of the time close-ups without bg and when you have to draw long shots or environments you're kinda lost.

If you want to draw from reference make storyboards of your favourite movies, and draw the whole shot, not only the figure.

If you don't want to make comics, whatever, but I think it would still be helpful going out from your comfort zone.

If you look closely they are not really round, but yeh, lots to improve, just started out, it‘s my second attempt. When I use a harder brush it looks very artificial, do you blend the edges with a smudge tool or something? I saw another style where you can clearly see the stroke I really liked, have you try myself out :)
