You don't know what your focus will be when you're just starting, you need to go through stuff and see what appeals more to you. Aaron Blaise wanted to be an illustrator and trained for that, but after getting a chance to work in animation he never turned back.

Holy shit it’s not complicated, if you want to be a storyboard artist there’s NO reason for you to learn how to paint, at least not in the beginning of your studies.

You don’t have to put, you just need to have basic reasoning ability.

For me my goal is simple just to be able to draw form reference model, and became a teacher in figure drawing.
I just love the way villpu, and steve draw and teach . Sadly I don't have any figurative art school in my country, so all on me. It is hard to study alone and figure out what's wrong and fix it without guidance.
But somehow I'm still gonna make it.
