I think I'll never be as passionate as my partner is about what he likes either, and that's ok. He also tries to understand and listens when I'm excited about something art related even if he's not THAT into it.
I guess all healthy relationships are like that, since no one is entirely equal and there's always some effort to understand each other. There's no need to "reconcile" it at all.

I've never met anyone who was actually passionate about anything.
Now imagine finding someone being passionate about something like art in a non-pretentious way.
It's like trying to find a needle in an ocean.
And most artists are insecure cunts so it would only become a petty one sided rivalry where one constantly tries to prove the other of how better they are, Constant arguing if you critique their stuff every time or if you never critique their stuff or if you care too much or too little or if you have more numbers than them or who is more passionate about art.
Artist couples that get along fine are even more rare than regular couples that get along.
The only thing left to do is to accept that you'll die alone if you're dead set on wanting an art gf/bf.
Just find someone that is passionate about anything else and where you can support each other without feeling defeated by the superiority of the other in the same field.
Personally, i would have no problem because i don't have the eternal small peen complex, but i simply fail as partner material because i don't have things or social standing.
