These retarded repetitive questions exist and swarm 4chan just to masturbate the western-hateboner incels and start flamewars. The answer is simply cultural. Cuteness and kawaii have long been massive part of Japanese culture, unlike western countries. That includes sex appeal.

American media always tended to focused more on realism, violence, and crude comedy. Our ideals of "sexy" never really included cuteness, and were more hard-edged. Not to mention these NEW modern movements of less-sexualized and feminist-approved women in fiction, because these women don't like seeing women to be "objectified"

It's that fucking simple, and no you won't get a deeper answer because i'm not a scholar and hateful retards will just spout conspiracy theories based upon their hate on annoying feminazis. They fail to realize "the joos" and feminazis don't control every single aspect of the media that exists now (although I will admit some media is being heavily influenced by leftist ideals)

This question is also irrelevant considering that BECAUSE of the internet and anime popularity, plenty of american fan-artists embrace kawaii in their drawings. Just look at coomer OC's, they're pretty "kawaii" and oversexualized. I don't think these people will ever be hired onto major american productions, but nevertheless they're produced by americans and took obvious influence from japanese anime.
