I really love inking. It’s my favorite part of drawing. The secret ingredient is love.

I roughly ink the foreground elements first because otherwise I will accidentally cut into them inking what is underneath: cables, straps, floating debris. Then I mark out the delimiters where I could get confused later like the hair, clothes edges, and anatomical intersections, I leave small gaps for planar intersections and make full contours for orthogonal intersections. Then I do a rough ink over the rest of the drawing and erase most of the undersketch. Now I can safely add the line weight on auto pilot. I beef up close edges, corner intersections, and side profiles. I feather clothing folds, hair, and surface textures. I save the face and anatomical details for the end, and do another sketch over the ink in pencil to the check the placement again, and I use the smallest micron to hatch in details. I think I am going to start putting a little pocket brush in at the very end for super dark areas.

Focus on figuring out where the lights and shadows lay on the figure using flat areas of colour, remember to think of the figure in 3D. The smudgy dirty look happens easily when you overwork any one spot.
For the colours don't be afraid to take a painting or a drawing and using it as a cheat sheet, not with a colour picker but with your eyes.

Very nice, but the feet are too small. And I think the blue marks on the body are excessive - either make them look more distinct from the grey ones or remove them. Also if it is not a tattoo they can't overlap with other marks like this. And if it is a tattoo it looks like shit.

You clearly know how to draw, but there's something slightly awkward about the contrast between the very realistic body and the more stylized face. I would suggest either going even more towards realistic proportions with the face, or pushing the stylization on the body. Make sure that you don't render some parts more realistically than others when you go into color as well.
Eyes are also a bit close-set, I'd move them a bit further apart for a cuter face.

In terms of composition, the horizon is generally eyelevel with the viewer, so the current version implies we're laying down in the sand. Moving it higher would match the perspective of the figure more (since we aren't looking up at her face or torso) and also potentially help to create more depth if you do a good job differenciating between the waves breaking on the beach and the more distant ocean.
Very close-up foreground elements can also help to create a lot of depth very quickly and easily as well as frame the main part of the image and direct the eye towards it.

Nice work overall though, I hope you keep us updated on your progress.
