bro, literally every post on discussing tablets takes into consideration that no matter the brand, no matter the features, no matter the build quality, the prerequisite when picking out tablets is that it should comfortably big enough
i.e. never small.

return it and spend just a little more for the medium. I used the small for couple years and I started to get really bad hand cramping cause i kept using it for lines my arm couldn't reproduce on a such a small drawing area. I upgraded to a large and the problems went away.

I bought a small intuos as my first as well and I regret not spending a little more on a bigger one when I still had the money. If you can afford it, seriously upgrade it.

thanks I see now that the problem isn't the size of the tablet but the small brain you have.

There's a 2.5" diameter circle on my tablet where the oils of my palm have seeped in. In that lies a 1" diameter circle of scratch marks. 99.9% of the lines I've ever drawn have been made in that 1 inch. This is on a wacom small btw.
I've used it heavily for a couple years now with no serious cramping or discomfort. Why the fuck does everyone need so much space, am I the crazy one?
The only difference I could imagine is that everybody must be using their pen for big cursor movements, but I still use my mouse for everything except drawing on the canvas (I'm a lefty).

Enjoy your carpal tunnel bro

Im pretty board and long legged so it's awkward using a position that might be more comfortable for other people. If you draw for like 2-8 hours everyday long term, your telling me you wouldn't want to minmax your ergonomics?

I use a Titan omega chair and a curvy c desk with my Wacom large intous sitting on a lap table for laptops angled on my thighs to the table about 30-40 degrees. Since the desk is curved; the amount of jiggle from board drawing strokes with my arm are minimal, I tried a 24 inch cintiq and it was wrecking my back so I returned it back to Amazon.

Just using a tablet with my head nice and level to the computer monitor; keyboard nearby on left-hand side, and after getting used to the initial hand-eye disconnect. My previous back problems and neck problems disappeared within two weeks. I like keeping up decent posture for long periods of time and keeping carpal tunnel syndrome as far away as possible.
