Last time I did one, I've got a few entrances but it was mostly ignored.

I often have that problem as well. And despite these numbers, I have a very low amount of engagement (people actually interacting with my works).
To begin with, ten days ago I was barely above 1K: it's just a matter of luck, really. One silly drawing did extremely well, and I've got a shit ton of new followers, but I doubt they're here for anything but memey art. Numbers will probably dwindle over the next few months. Still, this was nice.

Something like that, indeed. She's a kind of primal fairy from a boardgame project. The forest the players are supposed to cross is the domain of three sisters, and she's one of them. A shapeshifting, battle maniac, a bit slow in the head, but if you impress her, she'll lend you a hand. Of course, disappointing her will likely end up with a few deads in your ranks.

IG's only focus is to share media. You can just look at pretty art and completely ignore an artist's social commentary. At the same time, it is extremely hard to get noticed here and you'll spend more time on hashtag research than making art
Twitter is both useless posts bitching about life/politics/etc, reposts of other people's art, and maybe some art and cat photos. Twitter also has a higher chance of you getting cancelled for saying the wrong things or even liking the "wrong" posts (this happened to Sakimichan last month). Besides from all that, there are some ok people there and the art related hashtags can be helpful to getting new eyes on your work

It took a while to get a following there, but I've gotten several commissions from my HF and a decent amount of interaction.

It's a lot better to use once you get auto-approval instead of having to wait to have your posts approved.

Don't expect it to help you overnight, they don't have good discovery mechanics, but it's an okay place to archive your porn.

Unlike Twitter you actually have a gallery.

I try to branch out somewhat and grind fundies but really I just want to draw retro anime and cars. I've been working pretty hard to get good enough to illustrate a comic I wrote. I like using grey scale alcohol markers but I also use digital and other mediums.

Only started really focusing on full bodies/figure drawing very recently. That's my weakest thing I think.

My goal is to be able to draw women like @hwasamchoi and @arielzbart.

They make it look so effortless.

Why is signing up to instagram such a hassle?
First they tell me my e-mail is already used.
Then I can't use the "forgot password" function, they tell me "no user found".
So contacted them and they cleared my email, I sign up again, they send me a confirmation code but the code is invalid.
I try a few more times and the code they send is invalid every time and now I have to wait because apparently I've been requesting too many confirmation codes.

It's so bothersome but I need to get my work out there somehow and when I mention to people that I draw they often ask me if I have an instagram account.

The thing is, I was looking for a place where I can dump my stuff so when someone who I meet irl is interested in my work, I can point them there and have an easy way to keep in touch with that person. I don't really intend to use it as a place to garner interest, I'm looking for an online portfolio more or less.

There is also artstation, but is not so normie friendly. It's more for pros looking for work in the industry.
