No. And I do abstract myself.

I just don't like the color, have no appreciation for whatever method used (shitting on canvas? Have some respect asshole no pun intended)

If it was burned with a lighter, then I'd have some respect for it. But I think not. Just an ugly mix of brown.

All in all, it doesnt please the eye and has no message.

No but there's a cool abstraction there.
You could refine it and make something representational with it. Really looks good from afar

Thank you. I think that as well.
If you like Lynch it helps. It's along his approach, I believe. Not an imitation, I just naturally do these things.
I welcome the opinions of all that replied, it's constructive even when destructive.

I just think you should use more color.

Abstract is cool but this is just a lot of black and brown. Most of the best abstract art I’ve seen (in my opinion of course) really popped with color.

>> No.4692624

I appreciate the input. I may add colors to a new matrix. This one would require me to learn how to colorize the digital without losing details etc Might do it. It's supposed to look bleak so I didn't consider it an issue upfront. Thanks for the feedback.

No. I asked how much would you pay for it?

>> No.4692651

>>4691490
No, it's really gross, even if you want to argue it's interesting aesthetically.

Surely, gross splatter images with hair, or something very similar, has been done before. Perhaps, if you put together some kind of artistic persona, a convincing rationale, and got really lucky, you could find some fine art niche to sell this to.

But I'd consider something when creating for others: if you were from a future civilization and stumbled upon this work, would you put in a museum? would you value it? would you recognize it as art? would you even notice it?

>> No.4692665

>>4692573

Looks better flipped and without brown.

this is trad right? I mean you cant do this splatter and stain with a digital brush and I know.

How did you do it, wanna say? Any spit on the canvas? Put paint on your lips and blew hard?

>> No.4692669

>>4692573

whipped your brush with only a little paint on it a several dozen times from different angles?

Mixed water with it?

Head butted it ? (lol ok I didnt do that but I think rest of the methods I got down)

The original did happen by chance but all further modifications were by choice.
Art has plenty of range to depict tangible to indecipherable and provided the recipients are appreciative of the potential the de facto material supports may widely vary in nature, number and duration. I would buy this in some form should the medium ask. An album cover, for example. I would pay a million.
May be yours for just a hundred bucks plus shipping.

A magician never reveals his dirty tricks. You have my word it's a hundred percent of my own, I modified it in simple phone app yes but all else is original in execution. I must have done something right if one of you fine gentlemen is even slightly intrigued or glad to have glanced at it.
The scatological suggestions were also maximally entertaining, one could say.

I'm a nobody but I see some interesting techniques involved

As such, still, the original question stays

Would people pay for it?

As for me, I implied I think similar techniques but I dont expect anyone to pay to see it

ALTHOUGH I really think the splatter is pleasing to the eye :)

I just HATE your palette its tolerable when you put it to black.white

You may. It's fun to puzzle. I would describe the process should it not spoil the journey of and to discovery. The first poster had rather colorful notions as to how and why it may have spawned. I mustn't dissuade him from perusing further for fear of what the gods would do lol.
