I love quality manga, but let's be honest, anime 'style' (you know what I'm talking about) sucks ass. An entire generation is being raised on this shit and it's making for some inbred, derivative, shitty art.
Expand your horizons: read a book, look at paintings, study classic movies, read some classic European and (gasp) American comics. Anime style is the mind killer, and I can see its disease all over this board.
