None of the things you like are actually in the picture. Simon is a complete meme, very good indicator of how bad someone's taste is. Pick up a 3D package like Blender or 3DS and you won't be impressed. His compositions are very poor.

Shinobu Ohtaka. Their art shines best in Magi and Orient. I’ve always thought their art looked really dynamic with good lineart. Every page is so detailed. It can look a little crazy at times though

If you think Stalenhag is weak with anything he pushes for, YOU are the one with bad taste. Saying that he is bad composition really shows your lack of understanding of composition. He's stellar and composition is maybe his strongest point.
