I feel strongly that I've found my ikigai, and almost don't want anything else in the world. Is it possible to be happy forever with an ikigai, without worrying about things like a spouse, family, etc? I want to be normal, but I love making art and everything else feels like a distraction. I'm afraid I might be missing out though.

At a certain point you've developed and solidified your identity and personality too differently from others. Maybe if this was highschool you could just "adapt" but someone whose entire developmental period was spent away from and rejected from normal human social interaction is only ever going to be able to fit into society on a surface level as a laborer. At this point there is so little in common between me and most people that I wouldn't even be able to enjoy their company or vice versa. I've become the weirdo they treated me as so to speak. Hell, even the online friends whom I have who are already outliers themselves and barely relate to normal human society, are still way more normal than I am to the point I find it hard to relate to them. I don't even know why I bother making art when I know the majority of people will find it unrelateable and disconnected from normal human experiences. As for girlfriends, I never really liked real girls and I rejected the only girls to show interest in me during highschool because I had nothing in common with them. For all I know they could have been pranking me anyway. Either way by the time you've lived for three decades, while you can certainly grow much, much more as a person from that point, it's way too late to experience the natural integration into society as a normal human being. Like him, I'm not asking for pity. I'm just being honest.

Meeting girls and people is about expanding your social ring, so doing stuff that you enjoy that other people also do. If you like drawing, then try to find a local figure drawing class to actually get good practice and meet people. Albeit you might only meet a bunch of old ass people there but you get the idea. Expand what you do on a day to day basis, meet new people, make friends, meet their friends. Don’t fuck it up and act like you browse 4chan though. Won’t make very many normie friends that way.

That's the point. In the modern world, your "reason" to exist is to serve those who've been around longer, could establish their rules beforehand and who rarely have your best interests in mind.
With people always pushing you to further heights because you have to always have more, want more, consume more but in the end breaking you and benefiting none others that the ones at the top of the pyramid.
Thus eliminating any meaning of ikigai for the only allowed reason to exist here is to serve others.
Society and it's people are rotten and I don't blame you for thinking like that.
