I barely post on Twitter in the first place so I don’t have much of a prescience. I just use my platform to post art. I don’t want to get involved with politics.

It is shitty when you think about it.
When black people first came to America, they were slaves from Africa.

They were seen as property to the white man, and not equal to the the default dominate group of people, which were the white people.

The white person saw the black person as a lesser person. Even after emancipation, white people still saw black people as lesser people, because they once had control and power over these people as if they were pets. Slavery was abolished, but white people still found ways for black people to not be successful in life. Segregated neighborhoods, schools, transportation, etc.

Because many black people didn’t have opportunities because of this system, they were stuck in the ghetto and resorted to crime.

So I don’t know if white people are to blame for how the worse American black people act today, but it makes you think.

Do many minorities commit crime because they weren’t given opportunities throughout history, or are they not given opportunities because they are known to cause crime? It’s a vicious cycle for minorities to climb out of.

I am all for Black rights because from a basic standpoint, we are all human and we should all have the same opportunities. I don’t care if you’re white, black, asian, indian, arab, jewish, christian, muslim, atheist, mormon, etc. I care that you’re not an asshole.

I just don’t want to get involved because it feels like there’s too much pressure to be involved. It should come from sincerity. And even if you do show support, there will always be someone who misconstrues what you say and feel slighted, and you can still get “canceled”
