Man I really do hate the art and composition in American comics. The shadows are so sloppily thrown in like here >>4610763 and the composition on this one is just awful. Not just the page composition, but the individual composition within the panels is just so boring and thoughtless. No sense of flow or direction, just boring closups from very similar angles all around. Terrible stuff.

Composition isn't great but I do like the art. Buscema's faces remind me of EC Comics, especially Edelman and Krigstein.

The thing with American comics is that it wants to animate the characters, but it doesn't absorb the atmosphere of the scene the way manga does. Horror comics do that a lot better, but they got shut down back in the mid-1950's and it stymied the industry as a whole.

How much of a fucking beginner are you to not see the flaws in your posted comics? If you have that shit taste then quit drawing and look for something soulless that fits you, like being a virgin or something lmao

Why Western comics are so ugly? Coloured ones are downright revolting.
Can't wait for this shit to die out.

I doubt that. Been drawing since I was five years old, went to art school and now work as a freelance illustrator. You are probably just sitting on your manlet ass, have less than three years of drawing experience and keep grinding those floating loomis heads. I have a shit art spider sense and it’s tingling because of your posted buccellato „comics“
