i think sanpaku eyes is more of a thing that only applies on to mongoloid people since all a white person have to do to achieve these eyes is to bend their head a little forward and look up or to have a camera photograph them from a slightly higher point so they have to look up a little

droopy eyes is a mutation that can only happen to white people so of course, a person with an epileptic fold will find it weird since it's out of the ordinary, slavic people use those type of eyes since it gives the impression of purity and innocence it's basically the human equivalent of puppy eyes

I have to disagree. In my opinion, these depressed characteristics of saints in the art of the orthodox church follow the Christian idea of modesty and inherent suffering in life.

So if we are talking about the artistic expression of realistic issues which these saints went through, it is very fitting to give them such features as serious looking/droopy eyes and frowns on their faces.

Oh and by the way, how is this eye type related to mental illness such as psychopathy? I have never heard of that before, is that just what you believe at face value?

Russian icons are derivative of Byzantine art, which itself is derivative of late Roman art.
Pic related is from one of those Fayum mummies in Roman Egypt, 1st BC. Long before Christian Byzance was a thing.

those type of eyes just mean one or many of these things: poverty, starvation, sleeplessness, suffering, longterm pain, longterm stress, tiredness. as most life stories about martyrs/saints involve those things artists try to show those “characteristics” through those type of eyes. The gaze sort of fills the character of “through suffering in this world, i gained my divinity”.
