I'm not good with realistic face, so take my opinion with a dozen grains of salt, it just feels weird to me that there is very 3D lead up from the base of the nose all the way up until the area between the eyes, then suddenly it's flat, it feels like that part has been gouged out

I don't really understand this trend, so I guess I'm not going to do it. I feel like it can get you followers, but are they going to stick around? wouldn't it be better to build your following off your own merits than gaining a bunch because you copied something?
idk I'm prolly just being stupid, but I can't force myself to draw this even though I know it'd attract more attention to my pages. I rather work on my comics or invent and design new illustrations then put the work into copying this pose and posting online for some followers that probably won't stick around when I get back to drawing my own shit.

Why are some people getting so worked up over this? It's just a cute little thing. You do the thing in your style, you compare with your friends and others, and move on. It's nothing political, nothing controversial, nothing "evil". I had no idea it wasn't obvious what that line was supposed to be lol. It was meant to indicate an area of shadow without having to colour it in, I'm sure I've seen that done using lineart before but I didn't do a good job of it. I'm curious how you got 'large nose' out of it but I guess that's the way it is.
