I can't get people to care about anything that I make.

Use better colors if it's digital. Something attractive to the eye is a sure way for people to like it

OH yes, I forgot to say that. Aesthetic pink blue pallette was a cheap trick done on purpose, if I had to think up something for grayscale...
Draw something either too sharp with contrasts that pop to the eye and make people think you know what you're doing, or draw a soft subject like cartoonu sheep or cats I dunno, I can imagine their clear faces in grayscale and big cute black eyes and people liking it

You need a story.
Draw a comic, join an indie game project, hell start making political propaganda, something.
No one cares about random still images with no context. Your art has to serve some purpose in order to matter.
