Maybe you're right, but the fact that it can do different rendering methods, very accurate linework, different perspective views on the faces, different facial expressions, as well as different art styles (it has both eastern and western furry art styles). Is kinda scary. But so far it can only do facial shots.

On the bright side we now have an endless resource of characters to draw and or study from and not have to worry about copyright.

I would worry for the day they finally make an AI that can design fursonas "a la carte". As in, you tell the AI how you want the fursona to look like and it creates it. That day furry market would get a huge blow. Why is this tech better at making furries than anime girls? So weird. Someone else in another convo about this I was reading suspected it was more or less randomizing and recoloring existing images instead of making new ones 'from scratch' so to speak because they recognized the base characters, some of which looked like filtered versions of existing images.
