There aren't many tools that can effectively mimic the look of traditional, it comes close but any discerning eye can tell the difference.

I would say your best bet would be having a strong foundation in traditional media and trying to apply that to digital.

Or, you know, just do traditional if that's the look you're going for.

Use blending modes sparingly if at all, definitely don't do shit like using color dodge to paint bright stuff. Force yourself to pick values and colors manually instead.

Just learning to paint traditionally may help you paint digitally.

Recently I started drawing live models with charcoal and pastel. I had tried to paint digitally in the past but I never really got it because my work was so line art heavy, but after using traditional for a little while something just clicked in my brain.
I've obviously got room for improvement but I feel like I actually CAN improve now where before I just couldn't get it. I kinda just process visual information differently now when I draw

tldr learn to physical medium and that knowledge will transfer over to digital

the best way to achieve the traditional look in a digital painting is by making brushes that emulate brush strokes as a real life brush. Photoshop has some but it's not a lot but if you learn how to create brush masks it will help in understanding what makes digital paintings look traditional

There alot of people who believe, in 2/3-point-perspective every object have to face the 2/3-VP, they forget about, as you said that every object can face his own VP.
Drawing a scene with only 2 VP and objects only facing those VP, would look stiff asf and boring too - maybe if you want to show a "clean" room of a minimalist that would look okayish - but for a messy battlefield scene na bruh.
